Nomads, Wanders, Gypsies, oh my!

That's right, we're homeless!...Sort of :)  The last few months have really been a whirl wind for our little family.  We've been seeing God move, and it's been quite a journey, that is still in the works.

In April, we were given an opportunity to sell our house.  We jumped at the chance because it was something that we had planned on doing in the near future, so when the chance appeared, without me having to show our home, and we were able to get exactly what we wanted for it, we decided it was time to go! :)

We immediately asked my Grandpa if we could move into The Resort for at least the summer while we waited to see where God was moving us.

About a week or two later, a home went on the market in the neighborhood that we wanted to be in, and we jumped on it! We put an offer on it the night that it came on the market.  It appeared as though we would be moving into the home at the first part of June, leaving us just a few weeks without a house.

However, God had other plans :)  We are thankful that he did.  Andy and I could both feel the Holy Spirit tugging at our hearts at different points during the process, and finally He confirmed that it was not the home for us...the day before closing!  Thankfully, we were able to get our earnest money back!  Although it was not the outcome we had expected, we are thankful that God made his will clear on the home.  It was not for us :)

Andy and I have both commented that initially, we thought we could clearly see God's plan working together, knitting a picture.  However, God has closed some doors that we thought we were going to be walking through, and changed the course of which we thought we were traveling.  I'm in no way complaining about this!!!  I am just so thankful that God is moving, even if it's not where we thought it would be...but isn't that the best way?! :)

So, today, I sit writing this from DeRidder, LA, where we are visiting Andy's family.  We decided that a change of scenery would do us some good, and visiting family would be a welcomed treat!!!  We are getting ready to move on another house, and will be interested to see if that is the house the Lord has picked for us! :)

In the mean time, we're spending a lot of time doing this:
