Belle's Brunch

This weekend was one of my favorite events of the holiday season, Belle's Brunch!  Since mom and I weren't able to do a table last year, we were able to decorate our table this year with last years idea!  We chose a "Kid's Christmas theme."
The gingerbread house was the centerpiece of the table.  When my sisters and I were little, my mom would build the cake, and we got to decorate it with all different kinds of candy!  Then, we each invited 2 friends over, where my parents served us dinner in the dining room while we were dressed in our fanciest attire!  It was such a wonderful memory!!!
Since the gym is always freezing, we've started decorating with a "bundling piece" that guests can use to keep warm and take home with them!
We ate off of my mom's Christmas dishes that we used growing up!  The silverware was also placed in a little pair of red gloves that the guests got to take home, too!
I love that at Belle's Brunch the men serve all of the ladies! Andy was our server, and Tucker enjoyed the delicious cuisine with us at our table!
The whole even was so beautiful!
In other news, Tucker had his 15 month appt. last week.  He enjoyed the "fort" under the examination table while we waited in there for 30 min..... ughhh.  Turns out, he's doing great!  He's in the 90th percentile for height and weight, and weighs 27 lbs!  I think it was lying, though, because he feels more like 35lbs. :)

I just loved this little picture of him clutching his cell phone and his cup.  He LOVES that cell phone!!!!

Kelly, as always, it was the joy of my heart to share this tradition with you! LOVED the ladies at our table and enjoy seeing EVERY table so different and beautiful EVERY year! Each table has its own story which makes it unique and memorable! First year for a while without snow...probably a good thing! :D Miss you...see you Wed.
