Are you there God? It's me Margaret...

Whew! It has been a busy week! Let's rewind to last Friday night when Andy's roommate from college came to visit! Jesse is an honorary member of our family, and we're getting close to closing our adoption of him. :)

Our magical weekend began with some garage saling where we all got some fantastic items! In addion to some glitter pencils i got THE BEST buy of the day! My eyes lit up, my heart started to race when I saw this whimsical set lying on the table calling my name:

As you can see, this matching scarf, hat, and glove set has people on it!!! After basking in the glory of my new purchase, we kept the car entertained with this fanciful set!

"Group Shot!"

Kendall's dreams came true when she purchased a wooded salad bowl set, and Jesse bought Create your Own Adventure books, and a couple Dinosaurs puzzles (yes, like the old TV show). We headed to Journeys for some seafood buffet...and this is when things took a turn for the worse.

Since he woke up that morning, Andy had been complaining about his heart beating weird, and he felt short of breath. By the time the excitement of the garage sale buys and the buffet wore off, he was convinced that something was wrong, so we headed to the Emergency Room.

Boy was he right! They wheeled him right into a room, where we found out that he had Atrial Fibulation!!! This pretty much meant that the top half of his heart was jiggling around like JELL-O, while the bottom was beating normally. Since we were told early on that this wasn't a life threatening condition, it made the rest of the stay easier.

We soon found out that this wasn't just an In and Out of the hospital type of condition, and we would be gracing the ICU with our presence for 3 days and 2 nights! Andy finally converted himself back into Normal Sinus Rythym, and we were able to go home!

Now, don't forget, Jesse was still here during this whole time! All were pleased when we came home nice and healthy, and enjoyed some quality time together:

Kendall, who had been entertaining Jesse outside of the hospital, came over for some Arts and Crafts!

I am so happy Andy is okay! All I saw was your status on Facebook and it really freaked me out. Praise Jesus he is safe and his little ole heart is not jello-ish any more.
